Jackson County Cultural Coalition 2025 Grantees
The Jackson County Cultural Coalition Board awarded a total of $32.300 in grants to the following Jackson County organizations for 2024 projects and activities:
Art Presence - $1,000
Free drop-in arts education and scholarships for formal education.
Boys & Girls Club - $1,000
Junior Picasso summer learning program.
Guitar Society - $1,000
Provide music education and outreach programs.
Jacksonville Community Center - $1,000
Free community concerts and events at the community center.
Rogue Valley Symphonic Band - $1,000
Performance and rehearsals with middle schoolers, focused on mental health issues.
Siskiyou Singers - $1,000
Two choral-orchestral works in January.
Southern Oregon Public Broadcasting System - $1,000
"Work of Art," a two-minute video that features a Jackson County artist.
Oregon Art on a Mission - $1,350
Art classes and tool kits for youth in partnership with Rogue Valley Mentoring.
A Greater Applegate - $1,500
Support the Applegate Evening Market.
Ashland Children's Theatre - $1,500
Development of a DEI audit and strategy plan.
Ashland High Arts Advocates - $1,500
Expand the Student Arts Mentorship (SAM) project for low-income/underserved students.
Gold Hill Community - $1,500
Highlight the city's 130th anniversary during the 2025 Gold Dust Days Heritage Celebration.
Rogue Gallery - $1,500
Field trip for 5th-grade students, including an art lesson and a take-home kit.
Talent Historical Society - $1,600
Celebrating Talent's heritage with drama, music, and the arts.
Jefferson Pipe Band - $1,900
Cultural and educational concert including various Celtic instruments on 6-21-25.
Ashland Folk Collective - $2,000
Free concert in Lithia Park called "Summer Sounds".
Ballet Folklorico - $2,000
Operating costs and costume support.
Talent Maker City - $2,000
The first year of generating public art surrounding the new Talent Maker City makerspace.
Woodville Museum - $2,200
Collections management project.
Rogue Valley Mentoring - $2,250
Amplifying youth voices through the Youth Panel event.
Southern Oregon Historical Society - $2,500
Children's Heritage Fair at SOHS Hanley Farm.
